Hello! My name is Abigail Lowell.

 

I am a 21-year-old Environmental Education & Interpretation student at Humboldt State University.

I love being outdoors and am passionate about the natural environment. I am continually awed by the interconnectivity and wonders of the natural world; nature is my greatest source of peace and inspiration.

​

I love learning, and I am fascinated by the diverse ways that people learn and think. I have wanted to be a teacher since at least 4th grade, taking after my dad and many teachers I have admired throughout my education.

 

Today I am working to be an environmental educator and interpreter who can effectively and compassionately share my knowledge and passion for nature with people of all ages.

 

We need to build strong environmental literacy in society to reframe the globally dominant human relationship to nature for a sustainable future.
